Ultimately, UN bureaucrats
will stop at nothing to register, ban and CONFISCATE firearms owned by private citizens like YOU.
So far, the gun-grabbers have successfully kept many of their schemes under
wraps.
But looking at previous attempts by the UN to pass global gun control,
you and I can get a good idea of what’s likely in the works
You can bet the UN is working to FORCE the U.S. to implement every single one of
these anti-gun policies:
*** Enact tougher licensing requirements, making law-abiding
Americans cut through even more bureaucratic red tape just to own a firearm legally;
*** CONFISCATE and DESTROY
ALL "unauthorized" civilian firearms (all firearms owned by the government are
excluded, of course);
*** BAN the trade, sale and private ownership of ALL semi-automatic weapons;
*** Create an
INTERNATIONAL gun registry, setting the stage for full-scale gun CONFISCATION.
I'm sure I don't have to tell you this is NOT a fight we can
afford to lose.
Ever since its founding 65 years ago, the United Nations has
been hell-bent on bringing the United States to its knees.
To the petty dictators and one-world socialists who control
the UN, the United States of America isn’t
a "shining city on a hill" -- it’s an affront to their grand designs
for the globe.
These anti-gun globalists
know that as long as Americans remain free to make our
own decisions without being bossed around by big government
bureaucrats, they’ll NEVER be able to seize
the
worldwide power they crave.
And the UN’s apologists also know the most
effective way to finally strip you and me of ALL our freedoms would be to DESTROY our gun rights.
That’s why I was so excited to
see the National Association for Gun Rights leading
the fight to stop the UN "Small Arms Treaty!"
You and I have to be prepared for this fight to move FAST.
The fact is the last thing the
gun-grabbers at the UN and in Washington, D.C. want
is
for you and me to have time to mobilize gun owners to defeat this
radical agenda.
They’ve made that mistake before, and we’ve made them pay, defeating
EVERY attempt to ram the UN "Small
Arms Treaty" into law since the mid-1990s.
But now time may not be on our
side.
In fact, we’re likely to only have a few weeks to defeat them when
they make their move in March.
And worse...
the UN "Small Arms Treaty" is no longer the only UN scheme threatening our gun rights.
More and more of the UN's radical agenda is slipping through covertly, under the
cover of domestic legislation.
Not long ago, Obama told Sarah Brady from
the anti-gun Brady Campaign, "I just want
you to know that we are working on [gun control]. We have to go
through a few processes, but under the
radar."
In fact, Hillary Clinton’s State Department recently bragged that Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast and
Furious are implementations of the UN's anti-gun agenda!
And I'd place a
wager that Obama's M1 Rifle Re-importation Ban was also the UN's agenda dutifully executed by his
administration.
Anti-gun UN policy that NEVER received a single vote in the
United States Congress!
The UN will meet soon to pass a final version of
the "Small Arms Treaty" to be sent for ratification by the Senate.
But even worse than a renewed mandate, the General Assembly could vote by simple majority to
implement the "Small Arms Treaty."
This would bypass any further
meetings and would allow them to insist that member states ratify the treaty immediately.
So if you and I are going to defeat
them, we have to turn the heat up on Washington
now before it’s too late!
1. Do you believe the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Second Amendment are the
supreme law of the land?
2. Do you believe any attempt by the United Nations to subvert or
supersede your Constitutional rights must be opposed?
If you said "Yes!" to these questions, please sign the
survey the National Association for Gun Rights has prepared for you.
But I hope you'll do more than just sign your survey today.
With your help, the National Association for Gun Rights will continue to turn up
the heat on targeted Senators who are working to implement the UN "Small Arms Treaty."
Direct mail. Phones. E-mail. Blogs.
Guest editorials. Press
conferences. Hard-hitting internet, newspaper, radio and even TV ads
if funding permits. The whole nine
yards.
Of course, a program of this scale is only possible if the National
Association for Gun Rights can raise the money.
But that’s not easy, and we may not have much time.
In fact, if gun
owners are going to defeat the UN's schemes, pro-gun Americans like
you and me have to get involved NOW!
And every dollar counts in this fight so even
if you can only chip in $10 or $20, it will make a difference.

I’m sure you’ve
heard the old saying before: “The police are always minutes away when you only have seconds.”
Never has this been more true than in the case
of Sarah McKinley, a young Oklahoma mother who recently defended herself
and
her infant child from two individuals who broke into her home looking to
commit the worst kind of violence.
Ms. McKinley didn’t fight off these violent thugs with a knife
or a broom, she used a good old fashioned shotgun to protect herself.
You might have something similar in your home right now. I
know I do.
I have a strong-held belief that you have a God-given right to defend yourself, your
property and your family -- and you shouldn’t have to ask the government for permission to do so.
The Second Amendment is just that simple. You and I have “the right to keep and bear arms” -- period, end of story.
I’m not sure how familiar you are with the National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR). If you are
not, let me introduce myself and the organization I spend every day of my life leading . . .
My
name is Dudley Brown and I am the Executive Director of NAGR. I have
fought for the Second Amendment rights of individuals like Sarah
Blanchard for
more than 20 years.
During that time, a few passionate defenders of our Second Amendment rights
and myself joined together to form the National Association for Gun Rights.
As I type this, NAGR
counts nearly one million members and supporters, forming the
fastest-growing and second largest gun rights organization in the
country.
Patriots like Sarah McKinley epitomize the
type of folks who make up the National Association for Gun Rights.
I know this for a fact,
I’ve met thousands of our members and supporters -- personally -- at guns shows, conferences and banquets.
You see, when I hear statistics like the fact that 90 million Americans own firearms, it warms my heart.
Many of those 90 million are folks just like you
and me who know that there is no better personal protection than
ourselves.
With all that positive, warm and fuzzy news, I do have some bad news.
The right to defend yourself and your family has never been under greater attack.
I’m not talking about a few radical left-wingers throwing
pebbles at us on the playground. I’m talking about billionaires
with tanks and machine guns. Our opponents are well-funded and
well-armed.
Well, maybe they
don’t literally have tanks and machine guns, but they do have money. And lots of it.
After
all, those who are seeking to take our Second Amendment rights away are
funded by the likes of George Soros and billionaire New York City Mayor
Michael Bloomberg.
But I never lose sight of the fact that
there are more of you and me than there are of them.
If they want a battle, we’re ready.
If they want to take away my right to defend myself and my family, I’m going to be standing in the gap.
That’s what we are all about here at the National
Association for Gun Rights. You and I are the last line of defense,
just like
Sarah McKinley was the last line of defense for her and her child.
I want to thank you for giving
me a minute or two to explain why the National Association for Gun
Rights is so passionate about defending our Second Amendment rights.
No, we aren’t inside-the-beltway lobbyists perched high above Washington, D.C. in a multi-million dollar
crystal palace headquarters.
This
organization is made
up of folks just like you -- patriotic Americans who don’t mind rolling
up your sleeves and taking a bare knuckle approach to defending our
rights and liberties.

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has released a copy of a
patrolman's dash camera video showing the trooper ticketing Norway's
mayor and then being pulled over himself -- by the mayor.
DMV
records show Norway Mayor Jim Preacher was driving the town's unmarked
Dodge Charger 70 mph in a 55 mph zone on Jan. 18. Preacher was just
outside the town's limits when the trooper picked up the speeding on his
radar. After the trooper issued Preacher a four-point ticket, the video
shows Preacher make a U-turn and turn his lights and sirens on to make a
stop on the trooper.
"Can I see your driver's license," the
Norway mayor asked the trooper. The trooper pulls his license out when
Preacher tells him the reason for the stop, "Are you familiar with
interfering with a police officer?" Preacher asked.
Preacher
claims he was acting as the town's chief constable and was investigating
an attempted armed robbery at a gas station that night in Norway.
Preacher was driving the former chief's patrol car. Norway has been
without a police department since August 2011, after former mayor Cindy
Williams sent a letter to the state's criminal justice academy, stating
that Norway "disbanded" its police force because the town couldn't
afford the officers.
Preacher took the trooper's license and
patrol car registration and spent 23 minutes with it, sitting inside his
Charger. The trooper's dash cam audio caught the entire episode. You
can hear the trooper complying with Preacher's commands, and then a
string of phone calls between the trooper and his supervisors.
In
the first call, the trooper tells his boss, "I don't know what he
pulled me for; he—I don't know. He's back there now, I don't know what
he's doing." Seventeen minutes into the stop, the trooper's supervisor
tells him to take his phone to Preacher.
"I'm going to file a
formal complaint, I'm going to take him back to my office and issue him a
ticket for interfering with a police officer," Preacher told the
unidentified supervisor. Preacher tells the supervisor that he should
have gotten a "professional courtesy," since he was a law enforcement
officer, and let go without a ticket.
"Son, you got a lot to
learn," Preacher told the trooper as he handed him his license back and
drove away. Preacher did not issue the trooper a ticket for interfering.
DPS
launched an investigation into the stop the following day. After
reviewing the tapes, DPS turned their investigation over to the State
Law Enforcement Division to determine whether Preacher violated state
law in stopping the trooper. SLED is also investigating whether Preacher
had any police powers, since his law enforcement certification records
show that his certification is "inactive" with the academy.
Preacher
claims he is acting as Norway's "chief constable," a title granted to
him during a Jan. 9, 2012 council meeting in Norway. Preacher who was
sworn in as the town's mayor just days before that, makes $32,000 a year
in that position, according to records.
SLED turned its
investigation over to the State Attorney General's office for an opinion
as to whether Preacher has police powers, and the authority to conduct
traffic stops. The AG has not issued its opinion as of this report.
UPDATE:
A grand jury indicted Norway, SC Mayor Jim Preacher and South Carolina
governor Nikki Haley suspended him from office. He is accused of
impersonating a police officer, drawing pay without council approval,
and nepotism when hiring his own son to work for the city. The
indictments claim that among other things, Preacher stopped State
Trooper Williams "without the authority, justification and
certification to do so mandated by S.C. Criminal Justice Academy
qualifications
